For my first Top 5 I will be talking about my favourite TV series' on Netflix. Like most of the world's population (especially students with time to kill) I am addicted to all things Netflix! I just love that when I'm bored I can go on and discover a new film or television show, or I can catch up or re-watch an old love. Perfect!
Supernatural
I've watched this show since about 2008 and have always loved it. The relationship between the Winchester brother is definitely what keeps me coming back and I know its the same for a lot of other Supernatural viewers. Dean and Sam are supernatural hunters who travel across the US on different jobs while trying to locate their father, who is on the hunt for their mother's killer (I promise it's not this complicated). Unfortunately after moving away and starting university I fell behind so having it on Netflix is perfect for me to catch up! Its also the only thing that gets me through any sort of studying - I have it on when I'm working and its got me through my GCSEs, A Levels and two years at uni so far.
Beauty and the Beast
Again, I started this a few years back when it first aired on TV but fell behind. Recently though, my mum and I have just started watching it together and we're both loving it! Its such a good adaptation of the traditional fairytale. My favourite thing about Beauty and the Beast is definitely the fact that Cat, the female protagonist, is a detective in New York and a total bad ass! The beast in this version is Vincent, an ex soldier who was experimented on by Muirfield, a government funded orgainisation in the hopes for creating a "super soldier".
One Tree Hill
Nevermind OTH being in my top 5 on Netflix, its without a doubt in my all time top 5! I didn't watch One Tree Hill when it first came out and I only came across it in 2009(ish) when I binged on the first six season and finished them in less than three weeks. Then I watched it religiously until it finished in 2012 which was a very, very sad day for me and all #OTHFamily members. The series focuses on the town of Tree Hill and the locals, especially the Scott brothers. The first five season are the cast in High School, with season five jumping five years ahead. Now that all the seasons are on Netflix I've been rewatching them every-so-often and I'm on season four at the minute. Couldn't recommend it enough!
Grey's Anatomy
I've only just started watching Grey's Anatomy after hearing about it for years and having it on my to-watch list for longer than I'd admit. I'm currently only on season one right now but I'm already loving it so much! Grey's Anatomy is a medical drama set in Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital and focuses on a group of young doctors and the everyday struggles they face. The characters and relationships in this series are some of the best and most endearing out there. Definitely give this one a go!
Nikita
Again, another series that I had heard so much about and seen so much said about how good it is online. I started watching it about a month ago and for a while I was really addicted.. Like four episodes a day addicted! Nikita is a government trained assassin who has gone rogue and is now trying to take down the company who "created her". I am such a sucker for strong female characters and Nikita is the ultimate number one when it comes to this. Not to mention that she is drop dead gorgeous!
So there you have it - my top 5 series' on Netflix! What do you guys think? Do any of you watch these shows? Have you got any recommendations? Comment below and tell me what you think!

Would definitely recommend you watch Gossip Girl if you get the chance - I was hooked. Always Sunny In Philadelphia is a good choice too.

What a great list! I used to be hooked on Supernatural, although I think I stopped watching around season 7 or 8 when it got a bit samey. I know it's a total blogger cliche but I'm steaming through Pretty Little Liars at the moment. I second Gossip Girl also! x
